The Employer Alliance exists to help and support organisations committed to
work-life strategies.

Join, and you’re wired in to a network of senior managers all seeking to develop best practices for their workers and their companies.

The network offers support and advice to its members. We arrange CEO sessions and other activities to spread the message, and encourage CEOs and companies to adopt a work-life programme by sharing best practices. We alert members to Government support, like the WoW! Fund, although we are purely advocates from the private sector, working alongside the Government.

We also champion the adoption of best practices within each of our own industries. Members of the Employer Alliance engage and influence our immediate business partners through a ‘1-Get-5’ approach where we aim to spread the word to five others.

This generates a dynamic web of formal and informal support and expertise which keeps on growing.

Members enjoy all the benefits of the network, as well as the Employer Alliance’s resources and reference works, good advice and valuable contacts.

In 2001, MCDS and SNEF jointly set-up the Employer Alliance on Work and Family,
to spearhead the adoption of work-life practices in companies. The name of the organisation has also been changed to the “Employer Alliance on Work-Life” to reflect the holistic and inclusive dimensions of work-life.
