Employer Alliance started as an informal group of CEOs who were early adopters of family-friendly practices. Winners of the Singapore Family-Friendly Employers Awards were invited to be members and they in turn reached out to more corporations to promote the importance of Work-Life strategies.

Employer Alliance was officially launched in October 2005 with a formal agenda and structure to create awareness and adoption of Work-Life Integration solutions as a business strategy.
