The Ministry of Manpower has set up a $10 million Work-Life Works! (WoW!) Fund to support company initiatives that promote work-life harmony.
All private sector organisations, including non-profit organisations, regardless of size and industry, can apply. Companies can only receive one grant, of up to $10,000, which can help cover training and setting up a programme, and employing a qualified work-life consultant.
Grants do not cover staff wellness activities, family fun days etc, recurrent costs or GST. Priority is given to flexible work arrangements and will be assessed on an “Outcome-Based” criterion.

Work-life strategies take many forms. But they all
involve an employer creating a more flexible and
supportive work environment, so that employees can
focus on their jobs while working. And the Work-Life
Excellence Award, given every two years by the Ministry of Manpower, seeks to commend, encourage and reward outstanding companies.
