Definition

Seasonal work refers to hiring additional staff during peak seasons to beef up the existing staff strength, or hiring part-time staff to work over certain period of time to cover the work of existing staff. Some examples include hiring more retail staff during the Singapore Sale or pre-Christmas season, or hiring staff to work on weekends to allow existing staff to enjoy their weekends.
